Painter, pupil of Felice Casorati.
He was part of the “Turin Six” (with Paulucci, Levi, Boswell, Galante and Menzio), an artistic collaboration supported by the art critic Lionello Venturi. In 1929 took start the experience that, tying these six artists up, represented the most important phenomenon in the history of twentieth century’s Piedmontese painting, as to be one of the most significant pages of contemporary Italian art.
