Piedmontese dialect poet, he worked for the “Gazzetta del Popolo” and the satirical newspaper “Pasquino” and “Il Fischietto”.
His most important activity was for him to study the life, traditions and history of Piedmont’s people, especially in Turin. Among his writings: “Torino e i Torinesi”, “Torino napoleonica” and “Cronache dell’assedio del 1706”.
