Steffula-Pavletich Tomb

Author of the tomb Giovanni Randich, 1905.
Author of the sculptures Giovanni Mayer, Trieste.

This tomb's large surface is secluded by typical Art-Nouveau metal railing. It is supported by modest, tall, square stone columns.

Inside the tomb, there are two sets of stairs which lead to the podium with a large, monumental baldachin. The baldachin is held by two columns resembling a log. Underneath is a stele with a large engraved cross (sculpted in low relief) and an altar stone. A heavy square slate covers the baldachin and a typically secessionist sculpture of an angel with spread wings is sitting on it.
